  • Action buttons are located in the top header area of your QCard. They can enable you to create shortcut links to useful web pages and services. 
  • For example, add a link to your meeting scheduling account (like Calendly), or direct prospective contacts to a Google Form for sending you messages or request information—basically any shortcut that would be useful for your business contacts can be linked to from an action button.
Awards & Certification Badges
  • Elevate your professional brand by spotlighting your accomplishments through awards and certification badges. You can feature your achievements and credentials by uploading badges or images that represent each form of recognition, such as "Top 100 Realtor Award" or "Certified Product Manager". 
  • Additionally, you have the option to link each badge to an external web page—whether a dedicated info page about the award, an article about your achievement, etc.—where business contacts can learn more, enriching the context and significance of your achievements.
Custom Sections
  • Custom sections in QCard give you the flexibility to present a list of links to a wide array of content types to your audience from your profile.
  • Use this section to exhibit links to whatever content makes the most sense for your professional position or industry. 
  • Feature useful articles, lists, or postings such as real estate listings, self-authored articles, guest appearances on podcasts, and videos showcasing your company's offerings. Can I add multiple websites, phone numbers and emails to my QCard?

Absolutely! You have the flexibility to add multiple websites, phone numbers, and emails to your QCard. While in the edit screen, simply press the "+" button to add additional entries for each. When it comes to phone numbers, you can choose from preset options like "work number," "out of office number," or "toll-free number," allowing you to specify which number to use and when to reach you. This feature provides you with the versatility to inform your viewers about the best way to contact you, enhancing your accessibility and communication options.

Can I rearrange the sections and items on my QCard or change the order in which information is displayed?

Yes, you have full control over the organization and sequencing of sections and items within your QCard. To do this, simply go to the edit section. At the top, you'll find a "Reorder Your Profile" button. You can then easily drag and drop items to arrange them as desired. Alternatively, you can use the up and down icons to reposition items. Once you've made your adjustments, be sure to save them, and your profile will reflect the order you've chosen. This way, you can prioritize the information that matters most to you and place it at the top for easy access and viewing.

How did my QCard already have my basic information when I logged into it for the first time without me entering anything?

Here at QCard, we're all about ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for you. That's why we've taken the liberty to pre-fill your QCard with essential details like your address, email, name, role/title, contact number, and even your photo and LinkedIn profile. We collaborated with your company to obtain this information, setting up your card so that the moment you receive it, you can start using and sharing it right away. You can always add more content depending on your specific use case.

Does the information on my QCard simply display, or does it offer interactive functionality as well?

Everything on your QCard is designed to be interactive to enhance user experience. When visitors view your profile, they can easily interact with the content. For example, tapping on your address opens their maps app, enabling navigation to your location. Clicking on your phone number opens their dialer, simplifying the process of calling you. Similarly, clicking on your LinkedIn link directs them to your LinkedIn profile page. These are just a few examples, as every element on your QCard is tappable and interactive. Additionally, if you add custom sections or resources like PDFs, those too become interactive, seamlessly guiding the user to the relevant content on the web with a simple tap.

Does this mean that my information is readily available for anyone on the internet?

Your QCard is hosted at a URL that contains a random number, making it unlikely for anyone to stumble upon it easily. Only individuals with this "secret" URL will have access to your contact information. The page housing this information is marked to instruct search engines like Google not to include it in search results, preventing it from appearing there. However, it's important to note that your QCard profile is indeed on the internet. Just as your physical business card might be shared with someone you didn't expect, someone could potentially share your secret URL, granting access to anyone possessing it to view the information you've included in your QCard.

How do I share my QCard with others?

Sharing your QCard is a breeze and offers plenty of flexibility. Look for the share icon at the top of your QCard. From there, you can share your entire profile via email, SMS/text, QR code or by copying the link to your QCard. Moreover, you'll find more share options depending on the apps installed on your device.

You can also share specific pieces of information. Just want to share your LinkedIn? No problem, there's a share icon for that. Only interested in sharing your mobile number? You can do that too. Each piece of information has its own dedicated share icon, giving you complete control over what you share and how you share it. It's all about making sharing your QCard as smooth as possible.

In addition to these options, your QCard also comes with NFC (Near Field Communication) capabilities. This means you can share your information by simply tapping your QCard to someone's NFC-enabled smartphone. It's a fast and convenient way to exchange your QCard, especially when meeting in person.

How can I log in again to my QCard if I've lost the link or closed the browser, and how can other people revisit my QCard?

Getting back to your QCard is easy. Simply visit card.qcardenterprise.com and log in. You can also download the QCard app for convenient access. It's a good idea to bookmark the URL for quick future visits. Additionally, people can revisit your QCard by adding you to their contacts. QCard includes a direct link to your online profile in the contacts app once they download it. This way, accessing your QCard is a breeze for both you and your connections.

Do I need an internet connection to use QCard?

Technically, no. The QCard iOS and Android app operates offline by caching data on your device, ensuring you can access it at any time. When your device regains internet access, it automatically syncs with the online profile to reflect any changes or updates, keeping your information up to date.

Is the email signature generated by QCard interactive, or does it solely display my contact information?

The email signature generated by QCard acts as a mini digital business card and is fully interactive. Clicking anywhere on the QCard-generated email signature will open up your QCard profile. This means that if recipients are reading your email and decide to tap on your email signature, your QCard profile will instantly appear on their device. Furthermore, the email signature includes direct call and text features. Tapping on your phone number will open the dialer with your number ready to dial, and tapping on “text me” link will allow them to send you a text message directly. It's a dynamic and convenient way to engage with your contacts directly from your email signature.

What are the Analytics available in the QCard menu?

Within the Analytics section on your QCard menu, you gain access to valuable insights into your QCard's performance. These insights include the number of times your card has been viewed, the count of unique individuals who have visited your card, and perhaps most importantly, the data on how many people have added your contact information to their contacts app within specific time frames, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

Moreover, the Analytics feature tracks the entry points or sources of interactions with your QCard. What are Downloadable Assets that I can see on the QCard Menu?

These assets can take the form of Zoom backgrounds, LinkedIn headers, signage, social media posts, name tags, PowerPoint presentation covers, and even web conferencing name labels. These items are set up by your company in collaboration with QCard, and anything authorized by your company will appear here. To access these resources, simply navigate to the menu, locate the Downloadable Assets section, and download the specific asset you need for your particular use case.

Is there a way for me to discover and connect with colleagues within my company on QCard?

Absolutely! You can seamlessly connect with colleagues by navigating to the menu and selecting "Find Colleagues." Here, you'll find a comprehensive list of all employees within your company who have QCards. You can easily sort this list by name or apply filters to narrow down your search based on different criteria such as departments, roles/titles, or locations. Once you've located the individuals you're interested in, you can add them to your profile, ensuring they appear in your "Colleagues" section. Additionally, you can easily share their profiles with others by tapping the share icon next to their name.

What is the physical QCard I received in the mail labeled as a digital business card?

That card is an NFC card, which serves as a convenient gateway to your online QCard profile. NFC, short for Near Field Communication, is a technology similar to what's used in credit cards for contactless payments. It's worth noting that any modern smartphone, whether Apple or Android, has this capability. How do I use the NFC card?

I attempted to tap my NFC card to a person's phone, but nothing happened. What could be the issue?

The NFC "reader" is usually located on the back of a phone, although its exact position may vary depending on the model. If it doesn't work initially, you can touch the card to the back of the phone and gently swirl it around while it's in contact with the phone. Think of it as searching for the reader and waiting for it to trigger. Be patient, as sometimes the precise location for a successful connection can differ.

Do I need to install or use the QCard app on iOS and Android to use QCard?

No, it's not mandatory, but it's beneficial. You're completely fine to use QCard without the app by simply sticking to the web version, but installing the app will unlock additional features that are exclusive to the app, enhancing your QCard experience.

What sets the QCard app on iOS/Android apart from the QCard web platform?
